2. Bookings and appointments
2.1. Appointments may be booked through our Website, by telephone, by email, through social media or directly with the Crystal Confidence Aesthetics.
2.2. An appointment is considered confirmed once the Crystal Confidence Aesthetics has accepted the booking and, where applicable, the required deposit or payment has been received.
2.3. You are responsible for providing accurate contact details and ensuring that you receive and read any booking confirmation, preparation instructions and appointment reminders.
2.4. Please arrive on time for your appointment. Arriving late may reduce the time available for your treatment. Where a late arrival means that the treatment cannot be safely or properly completed, we may need to reschedule the appointment.
2.5. We may charge a cancellation or missed-appointment fee for late arrivals where the appointment cannot proceed, in accordance with the cancellation policy below. Any charge will be assessed fairly and will not affect your statutory rights.
2.6. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests for a particular practitioner or appointment time. However, we cannot guarantee a particular practitioner unless this has been expressly agreed in writing.
2.7. You must notify us of any changes to your contact details or relevant personal circumstances that may affect your treatment.
3. Consultations and treatment suitability
3.1. A consultation or assessment may be required before a treatment can be booked or carried out. The purpose of a consultation is to discuss your concerns, assess your suitability, explain the proposed treatment and discuss potential risks, benefits, limitations and expected outcomes.
3.2. We reserve the right to decline, postpone or modify a treatment if we reasonably consider that:
The treatment may not be suitable or safe for you.
You have a medical condition, allergy, medication or other circumstance that may affect treatment.
The required consultation, consent or patch test has not been completed.
The treatment area is not suitable for treatment.
The relevant preparation or aftercare requirements have not been followed.
The treatment cannot be performed safely using the available equipment or protocol.
3.3. You must provide complete and accurate information about your medical history, skin condition, allergies, medications, previous treatments, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, and any other information relevant to your treatment.
3.4. You must inform us before every appointment if there have been any changes to your health, medication, skin condition or other circumstances that may affect your treatment.
3.5. Providing incomplete or inaccurate information may affect your eligibility for treatment and may increase the risk of an adverse reaction or other complication.
3.6. A consultation does not guarantee that a treatment will be recommended or carried out. We will explain the available options and any reasons why a treatment may not be suitable.
3.7. Treatment results vary from person to person. No particular result, number of sessions, degree of hair reduction, skin improvement, tattoo clearance or other outcome can be guaranteed.
4. Patch tests and treatment preparation
4.1. Certain treatments require a patch test before treatment. This may include, but is not limited to, laser hair removal, IPL/OPT treatments, tattoo removal, permanent makeup and other treatments where a patch test is considered necessary.
4.2. Where a patch test is required, it must be completed within the timeframe specified, generally at least 48 hours before the relevant treatment unless a different timeframe is advised.
4.3. A patch test is intended to help identify possible adverse reactions. It does not eliminate all risks, and a reaction may still occur after treatment.
4.4. We may require a repeat patch test if:
You have not received the relevant treatment for an extended period.
There has been a change in your medication, medical history or skin condition.
A new machine, product or treatment protocol is being used.
We consider a further patch test necessary for your safety.
4.5. If you do not complete a required patch test within the specified timeframe, we may be unable to carry out your treatment. The appointment may need to be rescheduled and the cancellation policy may apply where the missed patch test results from your failure to attend or provide the required information.
4.6. You must follow all preparation instructions provided by us. These may include avoiding sun exposure or tanning, stopping certain cosmetic products, shaving the treatment area or avoiding waxing and other hair-removal methods before laser hair removal.
4.7. You must remove makeup, deodorant, perfume, oils and other products from the treatment area where instructed.
4.8. Failure to follow preparation instructions may mean that the treatment cannot proceed safely or may need to be altered.
5. Medical information and informed consent
5.1. Before treatment, you may be required to complete a consultation form, medical questionnaire, consent form or treatment record.
5.2. You must answer all questions honestly and disclose relevant medical information, including any changes since your previous appointment.
5.3. You must inform the us of any medication, including prescribed medication, over-the-counter medication, supplements or topical products, that may affect treatment.
5.4. You must tell us if you are pregnant, believe you may be pregnant, are breastfeeding or have any other circumstance that may affect treatment suitability.
5.5. We may request further information or medical clearance from your GP or another appropriate healthcare professional before proceeding with a treatment.
5.6. You will be given information about the proposed treatment, possible risks, expected results and aftercare. You should ask questions and ensure that you understand the information before consenting.
5.7. You may withdraw your consent before or during treatment. If you withdraw consent during a treatment, the treatment will be stopped where reasonably practicable. Any refund or payment due will be considered in accordance with the applicable terms and your legal rights.
6. Deposits and payments
6.1. A £50 deposit is required to secure an appointment, unless the Crystal Confidence Aesthetics confirms a different payment arrangement in writing.
6.2. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the treatment at the relevant appointment, unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
6.3. The remaining treatment balance must be paid in full at the time of treatment, unless an alternative payment arrangement has been agreed in advance.
6.4. Where a treatment, course or package requires full or partial payment in advance, the applicable price, payment schedule, treatment inclusions and expiry period will be explained before purchase.
6.5. We accept the payment methods made available at the time of booking or purchase.
6.6. Prices are subject to change. Any price change will not affect a treatment, course or package already purchased, except where a change is agreed with you or is otherwise permitted by law.
6.7. You must not make a payment using a payment method that you are not authorised to use.
6.8. If a payment is declined, reversed or remains outstanding, we may require payment before providing further treatments or services. We reserve the right to recover genuine, reasonable costs arising from unpaid sums where legally permitted.
7. Cancellation, rescheduling and missed appointments
7.1. Giving notice
We understand that circumstances can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, you must contact Crystal Confidence Aesthetics as soon as possible and provide at least 24 hours’ notice before your scheduled appointment time.
Cancellation or rescheduling requests should be made using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation or on our Website.
A cancellation is only confirmed when acknowledged by us or otherwise recorded through our booking system.
7.2. Cancellation less than 24 hours before an appointment
If you cancel an appointment less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, the £50 deposit will not be refundable.
The same policy applies if you fail to attend your appointment without providing the required notice.
Where you have paid more than the £50 deposit in advance, any additional amount will be dealt with in accordance with the applicable booking terms and your statutory rights. We will not impose charges that are unfair or disproportionate.
7.3. Rescheduling
Where at least 24 hours’ notice is provided, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule your appointment, subject to availability.
Repeated cancellations or rescheduling may affect future booking arrangements. Where appropriate, we may require a higher advance payment for future appointments, provided that the arrangement is clearly explained and fair.
7.4. Late arrival
If you arrive late, your treatment may need to be shortened, modified or rescheduled to avoid affecting another client’s appointment or compromising treatment safety.
If a treatment cannot proceed because of your late arrival, the cancellation policy may apply. Any charge will be considered fairly in light of the circumstances.
7.5. Failure to attend
If you do not attend your appointment and have not provided at least 24 hours’ notice, your £50 deposit will not be refundable.
Repeated missed appointments may result in the Crystal Confidence Aesthetics declining future bookings or requiring full payment in advance.
7.6. Patch-test appointments
If a required patch test appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, the cancellation policy may apply. The main treatment will not proceed until the required patch test has been completed and the applicable waiting period has passed.
7.7. Cancellation by the Crystal Confidence Aesthetics
We may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment because of illness, equipment failure, unforeseen circumstances, safety concerns or other reasons beyond our reasonable control.
We will provide as much notice as reasonably possible. If we cancel a prepaid appointment and cannot offer a suitable alternative, any refund due for treatment or services not provided will be dealt with in accordance with applicable law and the agreed booking terms.
We will not charge you a cancellation fee where Crystal Confidence Aesthetics cancels your appointment.
7.8. Exceptional circumstances
If you cannot attend because of an emergency or other exceptional circumstance, please contact us as soon as possible. We may consider waiving or adjusting the cancellation policy at our discretion, but this is not guaranteed.
8. Treatment courses, packages and promotional offers
8.1. The price, number of sessions, treatment areas, inclusions, expiry date and other conditions of any course or package will be explained before purchase.
8.2. Treatment courses and packages are intended to be used by the person who purchased them and are not transferable unless the Crystal Confidence Aesthetics agrees otherwise in writing.
8.3. Courses and packages must be completed within the period specified at the time of purchase. If no expiry period is stated, please contact Crystal Confidence Aesthetics for clarification before purchasing.
8.4. You should attend appointments at the intervals recommended by your practitioner. Treatment intervals may vary according to the treatment, treatment area, skin response and individual circumstances.
8.5. Failure to attend recommended appointments or follow treatment advice may affect the progress or outcome of a course. Results are not guaranteed.
8.6. We may recommend adjusting treatment intervals or modifying a course if this is considered necessary for your safety or treatment suitability.
8.7. If you wish to cancel a course or package, please contact Crystal Confidence Aesthetics. Any refund will be assessed according to the purchase terms, services already provided, any valid cancellation rights and applicable consumer law.
8.8. Where a refund is due for a partially used course or package, the value of treatments already provided may be deducted at the applicable individual treatment price, where this is clearly stated in the purchase terms and is fair and legally permitted.
8.9. Promotional offers cannot be combined with other discounts, offers or packages unless expressly stated otherwise.
8.10. Promotional offers may be subject to specific conditions, availability and expiry dates. These conditions will be clearly explained in the relevant promotion.
8.11. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend a promotion before purchase, provided that this does not affect rights already acquired by a customer.
9. Refunds and exchanges
9.1. Treatment refunds
9.1.1. We aim to provide treatments with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with the information agreed with you.
9.1.2. If you are dissatisfied with a treatment, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can discuss your concerns and, where appropriate, assess the treatment area.
9.1.3. We may offer a review, advice, a suitable corrective appointment or another appropriate resolution where this is reasonably available and suitable.
9.1.4. A treatment may not produce the result you hoped for, even when carried out correctly. Differences in skin type, hair growth, pigmentation, healing, medical history and other individual factors can affect outcomes. A lack of the desired result does not automatically mean that the treatment was provided incorrectly or that a refund is due.
9.1.5. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions removes or limits your statutory rights, including your rights where a service is not provided with reasonable care and skill or is not as described.
9.2. Deposits and advance payments
9.2.1. Deposits and advance payments are subject to the booking or purchase terms provided to you before payment.
9.2.2. Where an appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, the £50 deposit will not be refundable, subject to applicable law and any exceptional circumstances the Crystal Confidence Aesthetics agrees to consider.
9.2.3. Where the Crystal Confidence Aesthetics cancels an appointment and no suitable alternative is accepted, any refund due for services not provided will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
9.3. Products
9.3.1. If you purchase skincare or other products from Crystal Confidence Aesthetics, please check the product at the time of purchase and follow the instructions provided.
9.3.2. If you believe a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described, contact us promptly so that we can assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.
9.3.3. We may be unable to accept a return of a product that has been opened or used where the product is not faulty and applicable hygiene or health and safety considerations prevent resale. This does not affect your statutory rights.
9.3.4. Any product-specific return or refund conditions will be explained at the time of purchase.
10. Treatment results and possible reactions
10.1. All aesthetic and beauty treatments carry potential risks. These risks vary according to the treatment, equipment, skin type, medical history and individual circumstances.
10.2. Possible reactions may include temporary redness, swelling, sensitivity, discomfort, irritation, changes in pigmentation, bruising or other effects. Some treatments may carry additional risks, which will be discussed during the consultation.
10.3. You must follow all aftercare instructions provided by the Crystal Confidence Aesthetics. Failure to follow aftercare instructions may increase the risk of complications or affect the outcome.
10.4. If you experience an unexpected or concerning reaction following treatment, contact the Crystal Confidence Aesthetics promptly and seek appropriate medical advice where necessary.
10.5. The Crystal Confidence Aesthetics does not guarantee a particular result or a specific number of treatments. Treatment plans may need to be adjusted depending on your response.
10.6. Where a treatment requires multiple sessions, the recommended number of sessions is an estimate and may vary.
11. Client responsibilities and conduct
11.1. You must provide accurate information, attend appointments on time, follow preparation and aftercare instructions, and treat the practitioner and other clients with courtesy and respect.
11.2. We aim to maintain a calm, clean and professional treatment environment. Please keep mobile phones on silent while in the treatment area.
11.3. For safety, hygiene, privacy and insurance reasons, children and additional guests should not attend treatment appointments unless the Crystal Confidence Aesthetics has agreed to this in advance.
11.4. If you need assistance attending an appointment, please contact us beforehand so that we can discuss any reasonable arrangements.
11.5. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a treatment where a client behaves abusively, threateningly, aggressively or inappropriately, or where the behaviour creates a safety risk or prevents the Crystal Confidence Aesthetics from operating safely.
